Spacedust - “Gym And Tonic” (#805, 1998, 1 week). Under discussion here: http://freakytrigger.co.uk/popular/2014/07/spacedust-gym-and-tonic/
An odd number one, this. Also, until last year I assumed this would be as near as we’d get to a Daft Punk record at the top, so my write-up might have been different (and grouchier).
My little boys think this is incredibly funny. I am annoyed because I was trying to prove that my tumble was better than daddy’s but this is a very good post in their opinion.
I really like this song! But probably aided in this that I haven’t heard the song probably since 1998 and as of yet have no audio so STAY TUNED for further developments on this front!
Poster for The Hobbit The Battle of the Five Armies.
‘Kokyou No Sora’ by Softball
Some Chiba based punks. I’m going to play softball tonight. It seems there aren’t very many songs about softball.
Dancing like nobody is watching.
This is an apt post as I have just this moment signed up for Grade 2 ballet. I shall attend fully SUITED AND BOOTED.
As an art student I can relate.
My love of the ‘Witched knows few bounds, apparently.
This a terrific record even if you know zero of the Beetle Band background (I had no idea)! Telling other people you liked this song back in the day always had a bit of an air like you were admitting you liked Boyzone’s 54th single, this was unfair to all of us. This I believe was the time it became common knowledge that the ladies had er, downsized their ages somewhat (bis looking on with greedy eyes) and youth prizing fans gave the side eye.
It’s far better than Ronan’s Rollercoaster of course. But I’m a biased fan, I even liked Jesse Hold On (I also like Dear Jessie by Madonna and Jessie from the Babysitters Club so maybe that’s also a name thing)?
Riding the Pepsi Max Big One is not like this song.
Finished Dual Destinies this weekend! Amazing game, definitely lives up to the Ace Attorney name.
Real talk though? If Robin isn’t the next prosecutor I might flip a table.
